Survivors of Ectopic Pregnancy

[mood |sadsad]

Today is hard for many of us. We are mothers, even if we haven't had other children. As one friend of a friend put it last year, we are mommies of angels.

So whether or not you have other children, Happy Mother's Day to all those who have gone through this heartbreak.

There is no better way to put it. I am a mother to an angel. My Dayley Serenity fought to stay here for four months and she only let go after I told her it was OK she died in her father's arms. We went through so much with this pregnancy. I was in the hospital for five weeks before Dayley arrived at 28 weeks. Her little lungs just could not survive having pneumonia twice. She gave us the best four months of our lives. I thank God for her. I am just afraid to get pregnant again because there are no guarantees. I am 35 and desperately wantingt to raise my own children. I know adoption is an option but I don't want to go that route because of fear.
