A Small Victory [Sep. 29th, 2006|09:50 pm]
Survivors of Ectopic Pregnancy

My husband and I would like to tell you all about our non-profit organization, A Small Victory http://asmallvictory.org/. Through A Small Victory we are asking for donations to provide Loss Kits to local hospitals. These Loss Kits are intended as keepsakes for parents who have lost a child to miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death. Parents that would have otherwise left the hospital empty-handed can now leave with memories to last a lifetime. Please visit our site and read more about what we are doing. And feel free to pass this along.

We also now has forums! It's a totally private place to come and talk about your loss and life in general. We have a wide variety of boards to suit you and if you don't see what you want let me know and I'll add it! We have boards specifically for dads and grandparents as well as other family and friends. We also have boards for those of you trying to conceive after a loss or those that are already pregnant or parenting. Not to mention our general boards for specific types of pregnancy and infant loss and our main bereavement board for everyone who has lost a child. You also have an opportunity to create your own blog through A Small Victory! Please come check it out - go to www.asmallvictory.org and click on 'Forums' on the right side of the page. Remember, this is totally private and safe place to chat so you must register to view or post topics.

We have a resources page where you can download PDF pamphlets on various subjects. If you really like one and would like it customized to the area where you live (statistics for your state, etc.) just email me and I'll do it.

If you believe in what we are doing I urge you to read the 'Help Us' page and post a link to us in your journal or send out emails to people you know.

If this is against the rules of this community please feel free to remove the post. Thank you!
